We have over the years changed so many things about our life.
We have failed as a population to ask if we need to change or why would it be a good idea to have products that do this and that. When you look at the shelves at the local shop there are chemicals galore that will disinfect your work surfaces and floors kill 99% of germs and make your house smell fresh.
Even though most if not all of these cleaning products contain what can only be described as unnatural chemicals we still want to have them in our homes. Air fresheners that puff into the air and sprays for freshening up your clothes and carpets your body is absorbing this crap and has done for year, just we have got used to it. Bleach for killing all germs dead!! Some germs are good for us - we need them! Pine fresh toilet cleaner green and blue in colour with loads of perfume in??
There are alternative's to using all of these products that will make your house more Earth friendly with minimum effort. Here I am going to be putting a list and links to how to make cleaning products that will be safe for you and your family. Like many we used to use all of these things but when we had children and they would cough all the time day and night we looked at our home situation. At the time we only used a few things for the jobs that needed to be done but when we made an active decision to rid our home of these products the change was astonishing. The kids stopped coughing almost immediately and even we felt some how more fresher more real and even my sense of smell became more alive.
Vinegar
The uses for this liquid are astounding. Many i have tried and tested with superb results but the one that i use the most is a spray bottle half with white/clear vinegar half with water and thats it! Now you have a cleaner that will do your glass and floors. Also this superb stuff will do such a wide range of thing to see the link to the right.
